... but we got there in the end.

A CCD (Community Companion Dog) title on Faxon that is.

Yup we finally cracked that third and final pass so Faxon is now entitled to have CCD after his name - ie. Tianze Power of Truth CCD.

For those of you who have no idea what I am prattling on about CCD is an obedience title. :)

We will be carrying on to attempt to get a CD - Companion Dog) title - hopefully this won't take another two years!

....another obedience trial.

Today was the first day of the ACT State Obedience Titles. Somehow I don't think we will be walking away with a State Title this weekend.

Heeling great, Stand for exam great, recall - nope, sit stay - nope, Down stay - what can I say about our down stay?

We did dead dog at the start - for non dog people this is when the dog is laying flat on their side rather than doing the phoenix thing - then we had a good scratch and then STOOD up and did a perfect stand stay.

The boy keeps me on my toes and the crowd amused.

Strangely enough after all this I am feeling quite satisfied with the improvements we have made in our heeling. :)
