Well it has been a month since my last entry so I figure I should update this. :)
The big thing to happen in the last month was that I dropped the Speedmaster! Not a major off but an off none the less. Fortunately for both me and Rosie (the bike) it was a low speed off - about 20kph. I came out of it with a couple of grazes and some spectacular bruises. Rosie came out of it with a couple of small dents in the tank and some scratched chrome.
Faxon and I are still training. We have nearly got through a Transition class. We have a couple of issues to deal with - like doing a one minute sit stay. Sounds easy but somehow Faxon can't seem to sit for that long. It appears that laying down is much more comfy. The other issue is dropping from a distance. He just has to come to me before he drops. This isn't too much of a worry as this is the first time we have had to do this. :) Looks like we will be repeating Transition next year. :) As long as we are both having fun we will keep going.
The big excitement for us today was another Afghan at training. He was there just for the exercise but it was still cool to see another affie. Unfortunately they didn't actually get along. Hopefully Jasper will be there next week so we can try again. :)
