A great read.

I've just finished reading Suzanne Clothier's book "Bones would rain from the sky..."

if you have ever had a relationship with an animal or another person then I suggest you read this book. On the surface it is about dogs and animal training but at a deeper level it is about all our relationships and how we can improve them. It has certainly given me much food for thought.

It is available from Amazon. :)

Are you a relationship oriented person?

This might sound weird but I had to seriously think about this before I answered.

I don't think I used to be but as I have matured (got older) I think that I have become more of a relationship oriented person.

I definitley see my interactions with dogs and cats as more of a two way relationship these days. I spend a lot more time working out what they are saying to me. This has also had a positive impact on my human relationships.

That's interesting, improving one's interactions with humans by interacting with animals.

I think I'd rather interact with my kitties than with most humans. I'm sure a lot of people feel that way.

Oh I totally agree - I'd much rather spend quality time with my animals than with most people. However, there seem to be just enough quality people in my life to keep me interested in interacting with people as well. :)
